The Institute of Forest Management conducts the second repetition of a permanent inventory in the forest enterprise of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich.

On a total area of approx. 430 hectares in circular sample plots characteristics like dbh, tree height, distance and position in relation to the center of the plot are measured. In addition information on forest regeneration and dead wood is collected.

The data will be used for forest planning and management as well as scientific analyses for bachelor, master and PhD-theses.
