Silesia-Clemens Hanke Award goes to Daniela Wirtz and Alexa Wachtler


Congratulations to Daniela Wirtz and Alexa Wachtler for winning the Silesia-Clemens Hanke Award. Daniela Wirtz won the Master of Science-section with her master thesis on the metabolism of folate in yeast. Alexa Wachtler carried off the Bachelor of Science-prize with her bachelor thesis on the behavior of toxins during the process of barley malting.

Each year, the Silesia-Clemes Hanke foundation honors the best theses of food chemistry graduates from TUM School of Life Sciences.
