44. Mycotoxin Workshop in Celle

From June 05-07, the 44th Mycotoxin Workshop of the Gesellschaft für  Mycotoxin Research e.V. took place. Two PhD students of our mycotoxin group were on site to present their research results.
In her talk Eva Biehl presented the results of her dissertation, which mainly deals with the growth of Fusarium and its production of Fusarium toxins during malting. Fabian Dick also presented the first findings of his doctoral thesis and illustrated the Alternaria and Fusarium toxin contamination of cereals and cereal-containing foods.
