In case you crave for Asian food…

...we have good news for you. Our recent publication deals with the Asian brassica vegetable Choy Sum, one of the most used ingredients in Asian cuisine. Together with our partners from National University of Singapur, we measured nutritionally important metabolites in three growth stages of the plant – microgreen, seedling and adult. Our findings show that metabolites like carotenoids, vitamin K and CHO-folates are present in higher concentrations in the early development stages of the plant, therefore confirming Choy Sum microgreens and seedlings as a physiologically interesting food product.

But in case you are up to an Asian meal – just try it yourself!
