It is a great pleasure to invite you to this week's SFB seminar.
Professor Daniel Kliebenstein will give a Zoom seminar entitled: Molecular mechanisms controlling a plants response to fluctuating biotic pests.
Daniel does exciting work on Pathogen resistance, using genetics, metabolomics and biochemistry approaches to understand specific defence processes in Arabidopsis and Tomato. His work in arabidopsis focuses on the evolution of glucosinolates and their role in defence. In tomato he is interested in the complex interactions with Botrytis cinerea. He will show some highlights on both aspects of his work.
Daniel is fellow of the American society of Plant Biologists and editor for the Plant Cell and eLife. More information can be found here:
