1st Student Retreat 2012

Monday, 29.10. – Wednesday, 31.10.2012

This year the first SFB Students‘ retreat took place in Königsdorf south-west of Munich.
The event was solely organized by and for the SFB PhD students. Our guest speakers were
 - Prof. Dr. Roberto Tuberosa
of the Department of Agroenvironmental Science and Technology (DiSTA) at the University of Bologna (Italy)
and
- Dr. Jens Steinbrenner
of the Plant Systems Biology of the University of Warwick (UK).
In addition three companies gave insights into future working fields: KWS, BASF and MKM Co-Pharma.
Since this three days were highly appreciated by all participants, the SFB Students’ committee is planning to continue the SFB Students’ Retreat for the next years!
