Network of excellence for interdisciplinary, genome based research in plant and animal breeding
Synbreed aims at developing knowledge and advanced technologies to promote a sustainable agricultural production guided by socioeconomic requirements. Synbreed is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the scope of the competitive grants program “Networks of excellence in agricultural and nutrition research” (Funding ID: 0315526).
The network is coordinated by the Chair of Plant Breeding at the Technische Universität München.
