Information to Zoom seminar: Dr. Magdalena Bezanilla, Dartmouth College (USA)

Our SFB-Seminar (Zoom) this week will be given by Prof. Magdalena Bezanilla (Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, USA), Thursday at 17:15.
She will talk about "Surprising and essential links between the endoplasmic reticulum and cellular morphogenesis.”

Magdalena uses Physcomitrium patens to investigates how cells encode geometric information and how they grow. One focus is to understand how the cytoskeleton is regulated to shape a cell. She did pioneer work using Physco as a model system and established varies tools like a CRISPR-Cas9 system for this model.
