Information to Zoom seminar: Dr. Alexandre Marand, University of Georgia (USA)

This Thursday's SFB seminar will be by Alex Marand from the University of Georgia, USA.

Alex's work focuses on single-cell epigenomics in plants. In his recent Cell paper, he used scATAC-seq to characterize the cis-regulatory landscape in maize at single-cell resolution. Since then he has applied this method to many other plant species and genotypes. His work provides novel insights into the basic regulatory principles of plant genomes.
