Here, we demonstrate the interaction of D6PK with phospholipids and define the corresponding interaction domain in the middle domain of D6PK. The mechanism uncovered here for D6PK can also serve to explain the membrane association of other related D6PKs. Congratulations to Inês and her coauthors.
