GROWTH-REGULATING FACTORS interact with DELLAs and regulate growth in cold stress.

In this very data-loaded study, Nina used RNAseq to understand the role of gibberellin signaling during cold stress in Arabidopsis. She then combined her findings with the results from a targeted DELLA-transcription factor yeast two-hybrid interaction screen that resulted in the identification of 250 largely novel DELLA interactions. In this way, Nina identified GROWTH-REGULATING FACTORS (GRF) as a predominant class of DELLA-targeted transcription regulators and she describes DELLA-dependent GRF phenotypes in growth and development.
