60 years - 60 plans. The exhibition. October 14th to 23rd 2016
Parallel to the symposium "Landscape 2056", we presented the exhibition "60 years - 60 plans" in the Schafhof cultural centre in Freising. For each year since 1956 the exhibition showed one plan. This remarkable collection of 60 plans allowed an overview over 60 years of landscape architecture and landscape planning, not only with regard to the evolution of presentation technologies but also in terms of changing contents. In addition, it is interesting to notice the number of influential experts being educated at the TU Munich since 1956.
60 years - 60 plans. The special edition "inter-nodium"
Together with the exhibition we published a special edition of "nodium", the yearly magazine of the Alumni-Club Landschaft der TU München e.V.. In this "inter-nodium. 60 years - 60 plans" you will find reproductions of all plans shown at the exhibition together with short comments on these plans as well as short biographies of all professors that have been appointed in landscape architecture and landscape planning at the TU Munich since 1956. These personalities had great influence on the development of the professional world inside and outside of Germany. The magazine gives fascinating insights into the development of landscape architecture and landscape planning, embedded in the development of the society since the mid 50s.
