Nutritional Medicine

The Chair of Nutritional Medicine understands itself as a brigde between nutrition science and medicine and combines science with medical practice.

The Chair of Nutritional Medicine is part of the Else Kroener-Fresenius-Center for Nutritional Medicine at Technische Universität München (TUM). Scientific knowledge is translated into practical prevention and treatment of diet-related diseases.

The two locations of the Else Kroener-Fresenius Center are

• Laboratory facilities and Human Study Center at the Center of Life and Food Science Freising-Weihenstephan/ZIEL-Research Center for Nutrition and Food Sciences
• and the Institute for Nutritional Medicine, University Hospital Klinikum rechts der Isar, Munich
